Meet Dr. Dan Spitler
“I was introduced at a young age to Chiropractic care and inspired by a childhood friend’s father who was a Doctor of Chiropractic. Prior to meeting him, I had already begun to get immersed in the world of science which first started with a love of Superheroes, Movies, and Legos. I am fortunate to this day, that my family noticed my passions and provided me with gifts and opportunities that would only get me closer and closer to becoming the Doctor I am today.
At the age of 13, my 8th grade class was given a project to research a potential career path where we also needed to shadow an individual in that career. Initially, I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do… I just knew I wanted to be a ‘Doctor.’ So my mother recommended my childhood Chiropractor and during my first shadowing experience, I saw an elderly woman be assisted inside the office because of her pain. After her adjustment, I watched her walk out with energy and a smile. I was hooked and my educational career was focused on becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.
During my 10 years of advanced education, thousands of hours of study, and working with my many mentors, I discovered not only what Chiropractic truly is but also the Gonstead System which over its 100 years of existence has mastered the science and art of Chiropractic.
In addition to providing the most specific care available in the Chiropractic profession, it is part of my life goal to re-educate my community on what TRUE Chiropractic care is and what true proactive healthcare is. I fully believe in the need for our fantastic healthcare professions and work with them closely in the care of our mutual patients…if I can help educate our next generation to be healthier and make better health decisions, I will have left the world a better place.”

Enjoying a Full Life
When not serving our patients and community, Dr. Dan spends every moment he can with his wife Brittney and their two dogs, Izzy and Joanna. Brittney and Dr. Dan share a similar passion for working with children, and Brittney is an Early-Childhood Education Specialist. They enjoy cooking, watching movies, researching their passions and creating different artistic projects together. Brittney and Dr. Dan are extremely excited to start their family together in Zionsville.
